I'm a guy. More importantly though, I'm a man, and a man with hair at that. I've got hair on my face, my chest, pits, and everywhere else you can imagine. While I may not be an ape, the point is, I do have a good bit of hair on myself. So the question, as the bold text simply puts it is, should I shave it all off or leave it where it is?
Don't get me wrong people, I cut the hair on my head fairly regularly and I do shave my beard pretty often too, but I would like a female perspective on the shaving of other areas topic. So ladies, give me all your varied opinions that I will later look at and still be confused by on what to shave, and what to leave be.
I won't be stupid about this either, I do also want another man's opinion on what works best from their own personal experience as well. So get to it people, tell me what works and what doesn't.
To shave, or not to shave?
Oh good you're headache has temporarily gone away and now you want to shave your b*lls - now this topic I can help with as I am an expert - :o)
And - just ignore that little *** - good response though ; I'm a fan. Anyway - I know all about this cause my guy is just like you. I like chest hair - didn't think I would until I dated him but I do - it's nice and warm. :o) haha no but really it is and it is sexy. If it gets to be too much, you can actually trim it so it is lighter on the sides and a little more prominent down the middle - not a stripe but a little more... My boyfriend laughs and says I fade his chest hair...whatever. haha
I would never shave your chest because it will grow back heavier, more course/thicker, and darker- and stubbles - major major stubbles that itch and feel horrible if you or we touch them - just horrible. So that is a no no. Same with your back (though you did not mention that as one of the places) but same thing. They do sell this hair removal cream for men... by Nair - Nair for men. You may experience some skin irritation but it works really well and lasts longer than shaving and it comes back soft - but same thing - you will get some stubble so I wouldn't do that either... But you can do that on the back but even leaving that alone feels better than doing anything at all.
I like shaved *****. I think they are great. Men love it cause they think they look bigger. haha and it is comfortable (once the itchies go away but those are not that bad - may be the first time but use some aftershave and powder to avoid irritation). Everything is so soft and it really allows for much better oral sex. Girls will go places they don't normally go in ways they normally don't as well -- much much easier. I do it for him either all or most - so after a year or so he figured he would try it out and that makes sex amazing - it just feels awesome. There is nothing in the way - just skin on skin so that is also a huge plus. You can shave there. Or if you try that and it isn't for you, keep it trimmed - definately. I would not recommend that Nair for Men in this area- too sensitive. One word of advice though - before shaving trim it all pretty low with a scissor(careful careful) or have someone do it for you - that makes shaving much much easier as you can see better, get a better shave, and not go through like 10 razors. - Just use a decent disposable - maybe Gilette with some aloe on the razor or Vitamin E (comes that way) and use a shaving cream meant for sensitive skin - I know the Gillette Gel is good and Aveeno is good too for sensitive skin.
Any other areas -hmm, let's see - facial hair is good to switch up. Clean shaven is nice sometimes and I love guys who have goatees or the right kind of beard or hair -- but not into the mustache ; not a fan of that alone - even the next morning stubble is sexy. I wouldn't completely shave your armpits - instead I would trim those areas so it isn't as much.
Please don't listen to these chicks telling you to get rid of the chest hair or back hair if u have it - it feels horrible and no girl will want your chest on her naked body with stubble all over - only those body builder think they are cool guys do that and then it feels horrible -- I was dating this one guy at some point that shaved his arms and chest, etc and I was like--- ohh noooooo! We didn't last long - chest hair - is sexy and women understand back hair. I don't even see it anymore - you just have to find the right woman.
Eyebrows - hopefully you pluck or wax down the middle - no it isn't girly, all guys should do it if they have a lot of hair. Sally Hansen makes these wax strips (facial and bikini line which does not apply to you) that have the gel already on the plastic and you rub the two side of the plastic together, cut it to the shape you need (ie: little rectangle for between eyes),peel apart and then stick - then leave it there and rub it in the same direction as the hair growth and when you pull it off - pull it in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Those strips hurt the least. I would not recommend for you to use those anywhere else because it hurts when there is a lot of hair - my boyfriend was like screw that. And...keep nose hair trim and tidy (no ear hair yet right??) after one try so to sum it up:
-Chest : maybe trim, don't shave, it's sexy, leave it
-Armpits:trim if anything
-Face: facial hair sexy , morning after stubble sexy and clean shaven is also nice, nice beard, etc.. - switch it up
-The boys: take it all off - you will be happy that you did
-Nose and eyebrows: keep neat and trim.
Some women don't like hair but never shave it on your upper body - you will regret it - seriously not even if she asks you too. Plenty of women think it's hot so don't worry. Just be careful down there - powder and an anti-irritation after shave cream may help - wait a little though so it doesn't burn. And I am telling you , my guy is hairy and he does not really itch when it grows back - either do most women but it is something your body will have to get used to after a few times. There you go - you are set - now go get the razors and shaving cream and get to work. Better if someone is there to do it for you though.. :o)
To shave, or not to shave?
i like hairy, i say just leave it as is. i am practically hairless, i don't need my guy to be smooth.
To shave, or not to shave?
I think if you expect your woman to shave, you've got to be prepared to do it too, beards are just laziness.
To shave, or not to shave?
i think you should shave all the hair except on your head and maybe your beard if you REALLY really like it....but thats just my opinion im sure others have better advice for you.
To shave, or not to shave?
Hair is good. It has a sence of maturity. But, anything can work for you if it is kept clean. Keep downstairs trimmed or something. But, removing chest hair is a painful, never ending cycle.
To shave, or not to shave?
I really can't help, but I appreciate that you used proper spelling and everything.
Sorry.
To shave, or not to shave?
Some women think that hair is actually sexy and manly. Personally I like my man to shave every day, get haircuts often and shave their armpits. It all depends on the woman though. I think that shaving your body would look and be pretty weird.
To shave, or not to shave?
i would just stick with shaving your face and cutting the hair on your head. and as far as shaving "other things" i think you should just stick to trimming.
To shave, or not to shave?
I don't like a guy that is super hairy, so If you have a really hairy chest, id say SHAVE the chest. If you just have a regular amount, leave it
DONT shave the pits, cause i thik thats kind of weird, for a guy to have hairless pits..lol
As for other areas.....(you know where). id say shave.
To shave, or not to shave?
I wouldn't care if you were shaved or not, unless it is totally long. If your shest looks like a dogs mane, tehn yes dear... cut it
To shave, or not to shave?
My opinion is armpit hair is fine, naval hair great, chest ok.
face rough and ready but not a beard.
back no way !
but other women love it ,so its whatever makes you happy:))
To shave, or not to shave?
I don't think you should shave. I love men with hair. I love most the stubble on a mans face that is soooooo sexy.
To shave, or not to shave?
Body hair is tough to shave. It grows back pretty stubbly and itches for a while. I would suggest some hair removal products other than simply shaving it, or maybe just use like a beard %26amp; mustache trimmer.
Also, a lot of girls dig a clean shaven men, especially in certain areas. I dont shave, but keep mine trimmed pretty close. Girls will appreciate it. Think about it, do you want to go down on a chick with a hairy *** bush.... Nah, didnt think so
To shave, or not to shave?
All the girls I know including myself HATE hair!!! Don't shave it... wax it.
To shave, or not to shave?
From a guy, what works for Me is to shave my balls and cock and just a little bit of the pubic hair above that. then I trim the rest.
I don't want to go through the trouble of shaving My legs. and shaving all of your pubes without shaving your legs, just looks stupid.
Saves your girl the trouble of picking hair out of her throat as well. As far as chest and pits etc are concerned. use nair, its easier. If you shave them at all it is.
To shave, or not to shave?
Well Luke, may the force be with you. And to answer your question:
Don't go around worrying about what other people think about you.
"You would worry about what people thought about you if you knew just how little they did." That's not to say that people don't think about you, it simply tells you to be yourself. If that means trying something new, then go for it. If it means I like me just the way I am, that's great too. My point is that you are asking the free world how you should look and feel, maybe you should ask youself this question first, you know.
To shave, or not to shave?
GREAT QUESTION !! Today women like a clean shaven man. What I suggest is that you trim your hair - shaving can cause razor bumps - trim everything - arm pit hairs too ! Nothing looks worse than hair sticking out ! yuk. Also keep in mind, your hair locks in odor so dont be surprised if you are hairy and she doesnt wanna go down !! if u know what I mean. Hairy arms and legs are bareable but the pits, c.o.c.k and face, always should be kept clean shaven. Good luck.
To shave, or not to shave?
The only hair you should have is on your head, pits, arms, legs, and maybe your private area (depending). Hair is gross on the chest, back, and butt. It can be sexy on the face, just as long as it is very short, maybe go 2-3 days without shaving the face. Happy Trails are VERY sexy!
To shave, or not to shave?
I don't know if shaving is the right idea if you are considering removal of hair try something along the lines of a hair removal product...if you have as much as you say...I mean seriously...you think shaving in your crack is going to feel good with stubble?
Don't get me wrong I ain't trying to be a jack@ss here, but honest...full body hair...try Nair for Men...or something similar...i ain't a fan of waxing myself but some are ok with that to...these will take longer to grow back and loose the stubble feeling...
as far as what to shave...I think girls are turned off by mostly anything on the back/backside of a man...some like chest hair some don't...legs and arms every guy has always had that and they are okay with it...just make sure if you do get rid of your hair in areas that you dont look freakish...like carpet on oneside and bare floor on the other
hope this helps you
To shave, or not to shave?
Be hairy. Just trim it till its looks good on you.
To shave, or not to shave?
hair is manly, of course cut and trim the hair on your head and beard to your liking. Scruffy if cute. Chest and back hair is sexy ifyou don't look like a dog, and (very good job keeping the question clean) as for below the waste, dont tuch, keep it the way it is...if she askes you too....that between you guys but i think its all about being manly...hair is good, other wise you think of a girl (girls trim up not men!)
To shave, or not to shave?
Whatever you decide to do ( I suggest trimming to give things a neater appearance and not shaving) shave a small patch here and there first. Some guys are going to get bad itching and razor burn no matter what lotion, potion, or trick they use. You might want to give Nair for men a try, not the stuff in the pink bottle the grey bottle that says "for men" on it. Nads and all the sugar gels are useless. Waxing works if a pro does it, home wax kits are usually nightmares. Waxing does hurt like a bastard though. A nice buzz cut with clippers meant for beard grooming for those tighter nooks and crannies starting with a #2 guard really is better. Except for back hair. I'm sorry to say this but there is nothing attractive about back hair, do whatever you need to do to remove it. Drano, lasers, lighter fluid - whatever it takes.
To shave, or not to shave?
It depends how hairy you are. I personally do not like very hairy men, so I'd say, if it's not just a little, do something about it. However, it would take a while to shave your entire body and when it grows back, it is very coarse and will itch. So, if you don't want to shave it, you can use wax (painful) or nair.
Don't shave your armpits. If you have just a little hair on your chesk, arms, and legs, I wouldn't do anything with it. Leave it. But if you have more hair than normal on your back - DEFINITELY get rid of it! DEFINITELY get rid of the hair in the other area -- carefully! If your chest is really hairy, get rid of that too. (I personally love a smooth chest. :-) The arms and legs, either way, but I personally don't like a lot of hair there either.
The beard.... I wouldn't leave a full beard. And a clean-shaven face on a lot of men makes them look like a little boy. I personally think a well-groomed goatee is very sexy. :-)
To shave, or not to shave?
as your friend, i feel it necessary to tell you that i indeed did try this once.
not a good idea. when it grows back, the stubble hurts and itches.
also, i once cut my sack doing it. dont try this at home.
only do it if someone else will do it for you.
To shave, or not to shave?
I would leave it alone, you are still sexy. Don't shave it to impress someone, cuz when it grows back it will be more hair!!
