Can a lady shave "peach fuzz" on face?

I have blond facial hair . It's not really noticeable but it makes me uncomfortable knowing it's there. I tried a depilatory and it burned my face really badly and left it red and very sore for days. I'm very fair skinned and sensitive. Will shaving make the hair grow in darker or thicker? Will a "stubble" be noticeable like on a man's face. Also, how often would I have to do it? I'm sure nobody really notices except me!

it will grow back thicker everytime you do it, and eventually turn stubbley. try nair, they make a depilatory specially for your face. it works great as long as you follow the directions.

Ya honestly id do it...if it is light enough hair it wouldnt have any effect on your skin to gently shave it off....its not a big deal..just make sure you do it soft and gently and with alot of water and shaving cream...it wont make it grow back darker or thicker thats a myth...but depending on how soft your hair is ..will determine if it grows in prickly like a man or not..you are saying it is really soft...if this is the case it wouldnt be bad growing in at all...if its thick hairs...i suggest waxing.

All women have light facial hair, if you shave it it will grow in darker and thicker, so if you want a beard I suggest against it. If it's blonde then chances are no one notices anyway and if it's not blonde enough you can bleach it.

You are NOT alone. I had the same problem. You could only see me mostly in the sun light. I did decide to shave mine one day using my eyebrow razor and it seemed to do alright. I moved up from there to a regular razor and it did even better. It hasn't grown back dark or even real stubbly like a mans. The only downside is that you have to do it often, as soon as you notice it coming back. I mainly do it when I am in the shower, it's easier and you don't really need a mirror atleast I don't. I think the next step would be to go to a salon and have it waxed but I am not quite there yet. Hope this helped and gave you a little comfort in knowing you are not alone.

do not shave your face.....you will have stubble and it will start to grown in thicker and darker (not over night of course but once you start you can't stop) I would recommend leaving your face alone but if you are going to do something about it despite what people say then wax or laser hair removal (you can ask for it for christmas or a birthday)

don't do it!!!!!! think about leg hair- what happens when you shave it? it grows back!!!! so unless you want a beard......

I also feel the same way and do shave and have done so for a while. I just use a normal razor. It hasn't grown in darker or thicker, and there is no stubble for me. It makes me feel much better too! :)

Edit: Not to mention I have dark hair.

yes it will grow stubble and if you continue to shave it , it may grow darker,,, why don't you try waxing,,,, ask a spa to use a hard wax it is more delicate and gentle on the skin than a wax using depilatory strips.

you should get it threaded

i advised someone else this same thing, waxing and things like that always burn my face then i tried threading. if you have sensitive skin when it comes to hair removal you should definately try this. it will hurt but the hair takes much longer to grow back. but if it's something that nobody even notices you should maybe just leave it alone.
