Hey, I am guy in high school and I don't plan on being single for another year. My first day of school is in a few weeks and I want to really look good. I always worry about what looks good, so if you girls could give me some suggestions that would be awesome or atleast tell me a good place to buy clothes. If it matters, I am around 6 feet tall, my shoe size is men's 13 and I have a sort of athletic build. Oh and I have one more question, what do you girls honestly think about guys who wear gel in their hair?

well an athletic guy is really attractive you can shop anywhere like hollister or abercrombie like other people have said but really you should look good but you also have to be approachable and girl like when guys arent shy im not saying attacking them but talking to them and introducing yourself and stuff honestly i dont like gel i like hair that you can play with thats just my opinion but just be cool and have a good personality and stuff.... hope this helps!!

Well, there's this one guy in my school, and he puts gel on ALL of his hair. He smoothes it down and some people call him turtle shell because that's what it looks like. And then when he gets gel on his skin it looks like snake skin. If you just use gel to spike it's fine.

NO GEL!!! it looks REALLY bad!! when i see a guy with gel in his hair a think he is a major loser. i like guys whose hair looks like they just rolled outa bed and got dressed. when it comes to shirts don't wear any of those shirts that have "funny sayings". don't wear tight pants either. a bunch of guys at my school do and it's really gross. try hollister for clothes but don't wear any of their tops that turn u into a walking billboard.

UM IT DEPENDS ON WAT KIND OF CLOTHES YOU LIKE. A LOT OF BOYS ARE WEARINDG AROPOSTLE STUFF AND SOME OTHERS LIKE SAGGY PANTS. BUT IF YOU HAVE GEL IN YOUR HAIR IT DEPENDS HOW YOU WEAR IT NOT TOO MUCH THOUGH

ok NO gel. thats kinda disgusting. try shopping at...well any place really. it doesnt matter where you get stuff, it matters what it looks like. if you still arent sure what to buy, bring a friend-who-is-a-girl or something to help you out. chances are, she'll tell you what looks good, what doesnt and she'll help pick out clothes.

I think all guys look great in a polo.

If you like them, you could buy a few different styles/colors.

They go great with khaki shorts/pants or regular jeans.

As long as your clothes are clean and proper..it really doesn't matter all that much to girls.

But like I said..a polo with jeans or khakis would look great.

It's not dressed up, but not too casual.

And what do I think about guys who use gel?

It depends how they use it. Usually, they have pretty good taste, and do their hairstyle pretty well.

What really looks good is when a guy puts gel in his hair and just combs it back...I think it looks really good =]

go to the mall and buy some hot nikes, jordans,or reboks,get some jeans and nice lookin shirts,oh,try to be in some sports,girls like that.one more thing,dont over do the jell.

A note of advice that a girl once gave me: don't spike your hair if you can see a lot of scalp.

And secondly, it's great that you are worrying about your apperance.. thats what a lot of high schoolers do. And its great that you are wanting to find a girlfriend.. because thats what teenagers do.

But what I can't stress enough to you is... don't stress or worry about it. Relax.. be yourself.. the girls will actually come to you. Someday you will realize its easier to find a girl when your not looking. Go to school, study, learn and try to get into a good college. You'll get a girl eventually.. and if you don't.. well.. make sure you get a really good education and a great job and then you can get any girl you want.

OMG. Screw all these name brand clothes. Wear your own style. What you are comfortable in will make you look the hottest because you will be comfortable to be yourself.

As for gel, go to a hair stylist. They can show how to style your hair using gel like products with no sticky, wet look.

Umm, well wear what you think looks best on you! Girls like sweet, generous, and fun guys. Put on something different everyday. So that you stand out and a girl will notice you. Also, you can try to find out what she is into like sports or music!

Get one of those short sleeve shirt that have the buttons down the middle and leave it open with a white T shirt underneath. With that, wear some jeans( not tight ones) or some khaki shorts. THose are cool. Hope I helped!

P.S. Also, just wear what you like to e=wear, most girls hate fake guys, but if you truly like the new ides, wear them! Be as kind and sweet as you can.

Well, your tall which is always a big plus, and the athletic build is great as well! I don't mind gel, depends on they guy usually. Well, be yourself, thats the best advice I can give because personality definitely matter most. Well, just don't wear really tight girl pants (that scares me), and don't wear pink. Anything else is fine in my opinion (most girls agree.) Have a great sense of humor and smile!
