Razor burn on my bikini line?

And to prevent it, do you need to shave 'with the grain'? Because when I do that, I always have hair that won't come off and it feels kind of like a man's chin when he hasn't shaved for a day. I've tried Veet, but even though it worked, I'm still paranoid because it says on the can that you shouldn't use it for your bikini line. I've tried a new blade, but when it starts to grow back I still get razor burn. I always use warm water. I've talked ot friends about this and no one knows what I should do. I heard neosporin works, so I'm trying that today. HELP!!

yeah you want to shave with the grain..if you shave against the grain you get the razor burn and you have a greater chance of getting ingrown hairs... I shave in the shower with the water constantly running on the area.. and like. pull up the skin a little bit from like right below my tummy.. it kinda breaks apart the hairs a bit soo the razor has access to them.. that works pretty well for me.. and if you try the salicylic acid thing afterwards.. just use a cotton ball and dab it on there. but i would buy more of an off brand kind like equate instead of clean %26amp; clear .. because the brand ones burn more.. the equate works just as well but doesn't burn as much.. and don't use a lot.. just a few drops on the cotton ball should do

I've heard to apply a salicylic acid medicine to the area after it is shaved to help soothe it and prevent in-grown hairs.

Always shave before you go to sleep.

DONT shave every day only every 3rd day.

Use new blade each time.

Maybe try dry shaving.

Apply some babypowder down there when you are done shaving.

anad DONT use anything with alcohol or perfume pn that area for at least 2 days

this may not directly answer your question however it is an option to shaving.in most major cities there is a procedure that is called laser hair removal for females and males and it will remove hair from any part of the body FOREVER no more shaving ever.but the procedure is pretty expensive but also is painless as well so like i said its just an option.
