Why do so many middle-aged women get men's haircuts?

It's so ugly. Women are supposed to be beautiful and hair is part of their beauty. Why do they want to degrade themselves?

While one gets old, the hair start to thin out and stop growing much longer with consistency. If in other cultures u see, older women have long hair but toooooooooooooooooo thin from shoulders below. So, its better to have them shorter and consistent thickness.

Another reason is low maintainance. With age people go more for comfort then style. They go for comfortable shoes rather then high strappy heels. Got the point?

I am far from middle-aged and wear my hair quite short. I do not feel degraded at all, and am often told that I am a stunning beautiful woman. I have no shortage of men staring at me, that's for sure.

I love my short haircut and it drives my sweet bf wild. Frankly, it's none of your business. You live your life, I'll live mine.

I agree with you. Short hair on women is degrading and is NOT attractive. They think they have to fit into a man's world.

For some reason ladies of a certain age are told by well meaning friends etc that long hair is only for young girls/woman. I dont agree im heading for 50 and 5 years ago got sick of people telling me to keep it short . So its long blonde and lovely if you like long hair try it thats my motto doesnt matter what age you are. ps my husband thinks its beautiful so im happy!!
