Did anyone else notice that men's razors work way better than women's?

Why is this? When I use my brother's shaver, it takes like 3 days before any hair starts to show. When I use women's, it shows the next day. I think I'm just gonna use men's razors now. lol

i have noticed that, i've used my husband's and it even gets a closer shave in addition to less stubble the next day, he has mach 3 and i had venus, supposedly the same but they are not! i've also tried men's nair which works way better than women's. only reason i can trhink of is that it's a man's world.

yeah they do work better, but i am sticking to my Venus razor, because i had a mens one once, and it didnt last long, and ive been using one (with same blade) for about 7 times and its a really good shave, and it hasnt worn out at al yet.

i usually use a razor till the moisture strip is all gone or till the razor dont shave

ur not alone gurl i do the same thing. i think it doesn't matter which one as long as you shave ur legs and make them smooth but men's works better.

I know!! When I go to my boyfriends I steal his razor all the time he gets so mad!! Then I told him that it made my legs really soft instead of all buzzy. SO he told me to just shave at his house with his razor lol. But those Venus Vibrance work SO well its not exactly the same but SO close I love it he got me one lol so i wouldnt steal his anymore.

duh! we grow beards and mustaches, so they obviously have to be better... and remember the "mens" razors are designed to cuz the hair all the way down to the roots to give that "Rugged" affect, and i doubt you'd want that Rugged affect on your legs... jackass....

Yes, I have noticed that too. I've tried the single, double and tripled bladed razors for both men and women. The only women's razor that I've found that even compares with the men's is the women's tripled-bladed razor, Schick Extreme Three. I shave my legs and I still have no stubble after 2 or 3 days. I've had a Venus and after two weeks I threw it out. It didn't seem to matter how often I changed the blades, I still had a lot of stubble after just a day. As for the moisturizing strips, I find them mushy, gunky, and that they, for me anyway, actually prevent the blade from getting as close to my skin as it could. For shaving cream I use either a gel that foams or this stuff for bikini shaving. I feel the reason is probably because manufacturers think that women's skin is more sensitive than men's, so the blades are not as sharp or are not positioned the same. Women want smooth legs like men want smooth faces! You know when you cut yourself shaving with a man's razor and not with a womans' that the man's is sharper and meant to shave closer. If I run out, I just use my husbands razor of the same name I mentioned above.

OH MY GOD YES!!!! i discovered this and have NOT gone back to using women's razors...i have the gillete fusion...it has 5 blades...and its awesome...i have had it for a year and i have not one complaint!!!

I dont know why this is...but its true...men's razors are far better than womens.
